Stir walnuts and sugar in a non-stick skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves creating a light brown liquid coating the walnuts. Remove walnuts from skillet, spread them on a sheet of aluminum foil, and allow to cool for 10-15 min.
Place mixed greens, cranberries, cheese, vinaigrette, and vinegar in a large salad bowl. Toss; add candied walnuts, and toss again. That’s it! Sit back and enjoy.
